The Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences (also referred to as the DiAAA, after the Italian denomination: Dipartimento di Agricoltura, Ambiente e Alimenti) is made up by the experience and skills of the former Department of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences and the former Department of  Agri-Food, Environmental and Microbiological Sciences, which established in the academic year 1982-1983 the course of Food Science (presently Food Science and Technology), the first one activated in Center-South Italy.
